Best CS2 Mirage Decoy Lineups

B Apartments from Side Alley

Let’s start with a Decoy lineup that is both very accessible to the terrorists and also a great way to divert attention. This decoy lets your team go to mid or the A site while keeping enemy attention towards B. First, head to the extreme right corner of the T Spawn. When you look up, the first ledge you see is what you have to aim at. When done aiming, perform a jump throw for a flawless execution.

Back Alley from T Roof

Another very interesting decoy lineup starts at the T Roof, which is the raised platform just before the A Main entrance. Stand in front of the last wooden beam that you can see on the T Roof. If you look right, you will be able to see just the edge of a window, which is where you have to aim. Coupling this with a running jump throw allows you to throw a grenade all the way to the entrance of B Apartments.

A Ramp from Side Alley

Best for a bit later in the round, this Decoy Grenade is very useful when you have mid-control and are trying to attempt a B-take. Thus, throwing this decoy at A Ramp can be very confusing for the enemies. At mid, walk over to the raised scaffold with the infamous plant pot. To your left, you will see a building with angles built on its edge, you need to aim at the first one as shown below. Perform a jump throw after this, which will result in a strategic decoy at A main.

A Ramp from Back Alley

You can also use this lineup in place of the one mentioned previously. Secure yourself with the edge of the orange wall that is seen as you enter the Back Alley. Place your crosshair at the pipe which is the intersection of the two wires. Then a simple but technical running jump throw will lead the decoy to its destination.

Palace from B Platform

Lastly, this decoy can be used in many situations but is best as a way to distract counter-terrorists from a mid or jungle initiation. Ideally, this will be thrown by a lurking terrorist who has made it to B Platform. Once there, place your crosshair as shown in the picture below, and stabilize your aim. The last step is a running jump throw to complete the lineup.
