Best CS2 Vertigo Decoy Lineups

B Stairs from A Fence

First up, we have an excellent lineup that can be used by CTs and terrorists alike. However, in the early stages of the round, it does have a tendency to be of more use to the CTs. This is because it allows them to have a presence on B Stairs and stop any uncontrollable aggression from the terrorists. Walk over to the first beam and station yourself in the corner. Then aim at the bottom part of the construction as you can see in the image below and do a jump throw.

Heaven from A Ramp

Next, we have an interesting decoy lineup that can be deadly when used in the right context. It also works by misdirecting enemies into thinking that a lurker may attack them from behind, while CTs can use it to make their retakes that much easier. To execute, stand at the corner with the sandbags and aim at the second construction beam in front of you. After this, perform a simple jump throw to finish and land your grenade.

Scaffold from T Spawn

A good position to pressure when trying to enter sites as a terrorist is Scaffold which can be used as an alternative entry to the A site. If a terrorist manages to throw a decoy onto the scaffold at the right time, it results in the CTs having to divide their attention into covering multiple angles. Thus, making entry into the site even easier for terrorists. Executing this is quite simple, walk onto the stairs in T Spawn and stand in the corner. Above you, you can see a crane which is where you have to aim. Use the instructions in the picture below and follow them with a left-click throw.

A Ramp from T Spawn

Another possible option instead of the previous decoy lineup is to target the A Ramp instead of the Scaffold. This is also done right from T Spawn, for which you need to station yourself in the furthest corner of T Spawn behind the Blue Box. Align your crosshair between the two lines running on the blue box and do a jump throw to make sure your grenade lands properly.

A Site from Generator

Last but not least is a decoy lineup from Generator to A site, which works exceptionally in direct enemies away from your team. Stand where the fence and beam intersect and aim in front of you as shown below. Next, complete your lineup with a jump throw to allow your grenade to reach the A site.
