Types of CS2 Ranks
There’s actually a reason why so many people ask this question. The thing is, there was only one competitive rank back in the CS:GO days. However, CS2 has a brand new ranking system called the premier rating, which is completely separate from the conventional competitive rank.
Not only that, but the competitive rank that most of us are familiar with is also not the same anymore. Valve has divided the competitive rank into multiple parts, where now you get a separate competitive rank for each map. Finally, we have the Wingman rank, which is also separate from all others.
How to Check CS2 Premier Rating
First up, let’s talk about your premier rating, also called your CS2 rating. To check your CS2 rating, you can either see it directly from the home screen below your in-game character with basic information about your profile. Or, you can head over to the Premier game mode and see it there. You can also see your rating by clicking your profile from the home screen.
Checking CS2 Competitive Rank
There’s only one way you can check your competitive rank in CS2. Simply click on the competitive section and you’ll see your competitive rank. The best part is that you can see the individual rank for all the maps on this screen, without having to click every map.
Checking CS2 Wingman Rank
Like the competitive rank, there’s only one way you can check your Wingman rank. However, it’s not the same way you check the competitive rank. Your wingman rank won’t be displayed in the Wingman section. Instead, you can click your profile from the home screen, and the pop-up window will show your current wingman rank. If you haven’t played any Wingman match, you won’t see a rank at that spot.
