You’ll have to start a private match and enter a few console commands to be able to respawn instantly in the competitive game mode. To help make the whole process easier to understand, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to respawn in CS2.
- Step 1: Launch CS2 and click the “Settings” icon in the upper left section of the home screen to open the settings menu.
- Step 2: Once inside the settings menu, click on the “Game” tab and then again the “Game” tab.
- Step 3: Find the “Enable Developer Console” option and set it to the “Yes” setting.
- Step 4: From the home screen, click on “Play,” “Practice,” “Competitive,” and then “GO” to start a private match.
- Step 5: Once inside a custom match, press the “`” or the “~” key under the “Esc” key to open the console.
