Anubis, as one of the newer additions to CS2, offers plenty of opportunities for creative gameplay. Many players are still unfamiliar with its layout, making it a great map to capitalize on with well-placed molotovs. Here’s a guide to the top molotov lineups for Anubis.
Best CS2 Anubis Molotovs
Corner From Ivy
While entering B-Site from the Gate area, the first instinct for many players is to clear the right side. However, there’s also a spot on the left side known as the Corner, which makes pushing to B-Site from the Gate a nightmare. Luckily, we have an easy Molotov lineup you can use to force people out of the corner area, leaving you with only the right side to care about. Stand in the corner of the Ivy area, align your crosshair as shown in the image below, and do a left-click throw.
Palace From Ivy
Another location you have to worry about while entering the B Site from the Gate area is the Palace because there’s always an AWPer holding at that spot with a clear line of sight to the Gate’s entrance. To get rid of that player, use this smoke and Molotov combo. Start by throwing a smoke right in the center of the gate area, and then stand in the corner of the B-Long area. After that, aim as shown below and do a running left-click throw.
A-Site From Boat
One of the worst feelings in CS2 is when you hear the enemy team planting the bomb, but you’re on the other side of the wall, so you can’t do anything about it. If you’ve tried rotating back to A-Site from Water, you know how that feels. However, if you have just one Molotov in your loadout, you can deny the entire plant. Just stand on top of the second basket in the Boat area, aim at the metal grill, as shown below, and do a left-click throw.
Plateau From Boat
Another great way to assist your team in dealing with opponents in the A-Site is by using this molotov lineup. It’s consistent and not at all complicated to line up. All you have to do is jump in the water in the Boat area and stand in the corner opposing the short set of stairs that go up from the water, leading to A-Stite. After that, align your crosshair as shown in the image below and do a jump throw.
Mid From Ruins
Regardless of what map you’re playing on, Mid-control is essential. The team that has Mid-control gets to determine where the combat takes place and deny critical paths between both bombsites. However, you can easily deny players trying to take Mid-control with this molotov lineup. Start by standing next to the corner of the left wall in the Ruins area and aligning your crosshair as shown in the image below. After that, do a simple left-click throw.
A Main From Plateau
Finally, let’s talk about a molotov lineup that the Counter-Terrorists can use. This one is best if you’re holding the A-Site area and hear enemies coming from the A Main area. Just stand in the corner of the Plateau, as shown in the image below, aim at the tip of the pillar in front of you, also as shown in the image below, and do a running left-click throw.
Conclusion
Before trying any of the above-mentioned molotov lineups, we recommend practicing them in a private lobby. This way, you’ll avoid accidents where you molotov your teammates. But once you do learn all the molotovs, you’ll practically be unstoppable on Anubis.
