Nuke can be a challenging map for Terrorists due to its numerous angles and defensive positions. However, with the right molotovs, you can clear tricky spots and gain control. Here’s a guide to the most effective molotov lineups for Nuke.
Best CS2 Nuke Molotovs
A-Site From Roof
Making it into the A-Site on Nuke can feel like a nightmare since there are so many spots that you have to watch. You can use this molotov if you’re in that phase of the round where all you care about is clearing the plant area in the A-Site without worrying about getting shot by opponents. Start by going to the roof and standing next to the huge metal vent. After that, aim at the yellow railing, as shown below, and do a jump throw.
Hut From Roof
One of the main spots in A-Site and probably the most difficult to deal with if an enemy is holding there is the Hut. Here’s a simple molotov you can use to clear that area consistently. Stand on the same roof as the previous molotov and align yourself based on the image below. After that, count the white beams between the windows in front of you from left to right and move your crosshair straight down from the sixth one until it meets the bottom part of the white line. Finally, do a jump throw.
B Dark From Bottom Ramp
Now, let’s talk about B Dark, the favorite spot of those players who like to camp and wait for a free kill. Using this molotov, you’ll be able to make sure that no one is camping there. Walk up to the left edge of the Bottom Ramp and stand next to the metal structure as shown below. After that, move your crosshair to the right from the top right corner of the fire extinguisher sign till it reaches the edge of the wall and do a left-click throw.
Doors From Dark Top
Let’s say that you and your team have taken control of the plant area in B-Site, and your teammate is ready to plant. One spot that a Counter-Terrorist can jump out of is the Doors area, which you can easily clear using this molotov. Just stand in front of the yellow railing above Dark and aim at the vent through the window, as shown below. After that, do a left-click throw.
Heaven From Hut Door
While making your way toward the A-Site, you can practically guarantee that there will be an AWPer holding the Heaven area. Use the molotov, so you don’t have to worry about that player. Walk up to the left side of the door arch for the Hut door, aim at the giant light bulb as shown in the image below, and do a left-click throw. But make sure that you have cleared other spots before using this molotov.
Silo From CT Red
Another thing that you can practically guarantee is that an AWPer from the Terrorist side would be holding an angle from the top of the silo. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to deal with that player. Start by standing next to the corner of the wall in CT Red and align your crosshair as shown below. After that, do a left-click throw, and most of the silo will get covered in flames, forcing the sniper to fall back.
Conclusion
Some of the molotov lineups on Nuke can be very tricky, especially the ones for Hut. However, we made sure to include only those lineups that are consistent and easy to learn to make things easier for you. Practice these lineups, and you’ll practically dominate the enemy team whenever you play Nuke.
