Overpass is a map that rewards creativity and strategy, with smokes being a key part of gaining control and executing plays. Whether you’re securing bombsites or blocking enemy vision, learning smokes on Overpass is essential. Here are some of the must-know smoke lineups to improve your game.
Best CS2 Overpass Smokes
Toilet Smoke
This lineup is super easy and is essential in helping you take mid-control and prevent CTs from taking aggressive peeks. For this lineup, go towards the left wall on the stairs, then aim at the yellow warning sign above the pipes, and do a jump throw.
B Heaven Smoke
To smoke Heaven, stand beside the “B” sign in Waters, aim slightly to the right of the pole, on the upper wire, and do a left-click throw.
B Heaven Fast Smoke
Now, we have a faster way to smoke Heaven. Go to the wall as shown below, turn around, position your crosshair on the wall above the wooden planks, and do a 2-step running jump throw.
Deep Graffiti Smoke
This smoke lineup will easily cover the entrance to the B site from the CT Spawn and slow down the CT’s retake. To use this smoke, go towards the wooden pallet near the wall, position your crosshair as shown below, and do a jumping throw.
B Site Smoke
Smoking off the main plant area is a good idea, especially if you plan to rush fast and just plant. To use this lineup, go to the corner as shown below, aim at the lower right corner of the billboard, and use a W-jump throw.
A Stairs Smoke
This lineup is probably one of the easiest ways to smoke off A Site. Stand in the middle of the bench after jumping on top, aim at the back of the light, as shown below, and do a left-click throw.
Bank Smoke
Bank on A Site is the most common spot for CTs to start their retake executes, so smoking it off is mandatory. Go to the bench in front of the toilets, aim at the 2nd bar of the rail, and do a standing jump throw.
Barrels Smoke
The Barrels/Toxic area is the most common spot for the CTs to hide and hold angles, and smoking it off is pretty useful. Go towards the location in the Tracks area as shown below, aim at the bridge, and do a left-click throw.
Monster Smoke
Let’s move over to the CT Side and use this standard Monster smoke from A Stairs. Stand behind the dumpster, aim at the left section of the pole, as shown below, and do a jump throw.
T Stairs Smoke
This smoke is the meta right now in the Pro scenes. It allows CTs to push Mid towards T Spawn very easily. Go ahead and stand at the end of the wall, as shown below, place your crosshair below the light post, and do a jump throw.
