The FAMAS spray pattern can be unpredictable without proper control, but with practice, it becomes manageable. Here’s a breakdown to guide your training:
Famas Spray Pattern
The recoil starts with a curved path like an upside-down “C” with a fairly short vertical kick compared to the AK-47.
After the first 7 to 8 bullets, the spray curves toward the right for about 5 more bullets while maintaining some vertical kick.
For the remaining portion, the spray moves towards the left with minimal vertical movement and then stays there in a fairly tight grouping.
FAMAS Recoil Control Technique
Move your crosshair along the path opposite the spray of the FAMAS, and you will effectively control its recoil. Start by pulling the crosshair down in a slightly curved path toward the right, like the letter “C.” After that, curve it towards the left as if you’re turning that C into an S, but this time with shorter vertical movement.

Finally, move your crosshair straight to the right, barely pulling your crosshair down since there is some vertical kick. Once you’ve moved your crosshair to the right, you need to keep it there for a couple of bullets until the mag empties.
