The MP9 can be an intimidating weapon for a lot of beginners because of its unique spray pattern. But if you spend some time learning how to control it, you can even take down players using assault rifles. To help you do that, here’s a complete guide on the MP9 spray pattern.
MP9 Spray Pattern Tutorial
The MP9’s spray pattern can be challenging to manage due to its rapid fire rate and unpredictable trajectory. Below, we show the spray pattern and break it down to help you understand it better:
The first 7 to 8 bullets go straight up with little horizontal deviation. This movement comes with a high vertical kick.
After that, the spray curves toward the left for about 5 to 6 bullets, with almost no vertical deviation. The curve to the left is also quite sharp.
Finally, the bullets move to the upper right direction for around 5 to 6 bullets and then stay toward the right for the remaining magazine.
MP9 Recoil Control Technique
To control the recoil of the MP9, move the crosshair in a path that’s the exact opposite of the spray pattern. Start by pulling the crosshair straight down and then abruptly to the right, for a total of 10 to 11 bullets for the entire movement.
After that, move the crosshair toward the left, taking it further from the center of the target while also moving it slightly lower, for around 6 bullets. Finally, keep the crosshair steady to the left till the magazine ends.
TLDR
Conclusion
You now have a much better understanding of what the MP9 spray pattern looks like. Hop in a private match and stand in front of a blank wall with the MP9. You won’t learn it in one day so make sure to keep practicing the MP9 recoil pattern until you can get the spray to land in the smallest area possible.
