Decoys in CS2 aren’t just for show; they mimic gunfire sounds to mislead opponents. On Nuke, these distractions can help you control key areas and confuse enemies. Learn the best decoy lineups with our guide to outsmart your opponents
Best CS2 Nuke Decoy Lineups
T Red from T Spawn
One of the most important aspects of Nuke is to secure outside control. Doing this is possible in many ways, however, a good combination is to use smokes, molotoves as well as decoy grenades to secure your positions. Executing this grenade is very simple, first, as soon as you spawn, jump onto the yellow box on your left. Then, on the barbed wire, place your crosshair on the 6th cross of the upper barbed wire. Do a simple left-click throw and your grenade will land perfectly, confusing any enemies in the garage.
Silo from T Spawn
This decoy lineup is thrown from the same position as the one earlier and is also great for outside control. After getting into the same position as earlier, you want to aim at the barbed wire like done previously. The difference however is that this time, you will aim at the 5th cross instead. Perform a left throw yet again for a correctly placed grenade.
T Spawn from Heaven
Though it might seem pointless to throw a grenade toward T Spawn from heaven, it actually has a few use cases. The most important is to bamboozle terrorists into thinking an enemy lurker is coming from their spawn. Head to the warning signs on the platform next to heaven and stand there. Aim at the top left of the window in front of you and do a simple left-click throw as shown below in the images.
A Site from T Spawn
Another easy decoy lineup from T Spawn can target the A site and delay any enemy aggression toward you. After spawning, look to your left where you will see a blue door and a yellow grill. What you want to do is stand in the corner of the grill and look in front of you. Align your crosshair with the middle of the right-hand side windows on the top, and bring your crosshair upwards towards the sky. Do this, until it meets the wire and subsequently do a jump throw.
Head Shot/Back Ramp from Lockers
Next up, we have another interesting decoy that is thrown into a position that a lot of enemies might not expect. This is because many are not aware of this lineup and so will not expect a decoy to be there instead of an enemy. You can exploit this by hiding and coming out at a time to catch your enemies off-guard. Walk to the corner of the lockers with the sinks and aim at the light above the ramp. Do a running left throw to successfully throw your grenade.

This list of the best CS2 Nuke decoy lineups is perfect for improving your game and incorporating some new strategies into your arsenal.
