CS2 Ancient Flashbangs

Ancient Flash Bangs

One of the best ways to catch your opponents off guard is by throwing a calculated flashbang at them. The best part is that you can have two flash grenades. To help you dominate the enemy team and get some easy frags on Ancient, here are some of the best Ancient flashbangs.

Best CS2 Ancient Flashes

Ramp from Back Site

While holding B-Site as a Counter-Terrorist, one of the only two spots that you might see a Terrorist come in and try to take the site is Ramp. If you’re alone at the site and hear enemies coming from Ramp, you can use this flash.

It will hold them off so your teammates can rotate back to the site. To throw the flash, walk up to the corner in Back Site, aim slightly above the second plank from the right on the pillar in B Site as shown below, and do a left-click throw.

Back Site From Double Door

Clearing the B-Site in Ancient can be very difficult for Terrorists. Especially if you haven’t yet gained access to the Cave area because your only way toward B-Site is the Ramp, which may have multiple crosshairs pointed.

You can use this flashbang lineup to avoid getting snipped from behind the B-Site pillar as soon as you enter B-Site. Start by walking right next to the X on the Double Door, aim at the wall right in front of you, align the crosshair as shown below, and do a jump-throw.

A-Site from Donut

Use this flash if you ever get stuck in Donut with enemies peeking from A-Site. Stand in the center of the Donut pillar, aim at the opposite wall, as shown in the image below, and do a jump throw.

A-Site from M1

This is the easiest flashbang to throw in Ancient that blinds all players holding A-Site. All you have to do is aim at the skylight above the M1 area toward A-Site and do a left-click throw. However, this flash works best if you have teammates ready to push into A-Site.

Mid from T-Spawn

The one thing that determines which team will have an easier time in a CS2 match is Mid control. The team that has Mid control will be able to steer the combat however they want, increasing the chances of their win. While trying to take Mid from the Elbow area as a Terrorist, you will most likely encounter a Counter-Terrorist trying to stop you.

You can use this flashbang to help your teammates get an easy frag on the enemy pushing Elbow. Start by standing near the corner of the structure in T-Spawn, as shown below, and aim at the tree in front of you at the point where it lines up with the ledge of the wall. After that, do a jump-throw.

Elbow From Mid

Now, if you’re on the receiving end of an Elbow to Mid push from the Terrorists, the time you have to get back in cover from mid is not much since you have to fall back quite a lot before you can get decent cover.

Here is one of the best flashbang lineups you can use in that situation, which won’t flash you on Mid but everyone on Elbow. Stand on the right ledge at the bottom of the Mid stairs, aim at the wall behind Xbox, as shown in the image below, and do a left-click throw.
