Surprising your enemy with grenades that blow up right in their faces is a great way to get the upper edge. The best part is that one grenade has the potential to damage multiple enemies, making the job of finishing them off much easier for you and your teammates. To help you with that, here are some of the best HE grenade lineups you can use on the map Train.
Best CS2 Train HE Grenades
A Bomb Train From A Main
If you’ve planted the bomb at the A Site area and you don’t have a clear visual of the bomb, then you need to know this HE grenade lineup because it will land on top of the A Bomb Train, blowing up right in the face of the Counter-Terrorist trying to defuse the bomb. To throw this grenade, stand in the center of the entrance to the A Main area using the image below as reference, aim at the right-side edge of the metal structure above you as shown in the image below, and do a 1-step running throw.
A Main From Connector
If you’re on the CT side and know that a Terrorist is holding the A Main area, then you can use this lineup. Start by standing next to the wall in the Connector area right under the large red B painted on the wall and aim at the top window towards the left. After that, align your crosshair at the lower middle portion of the window using the images below as a reference and do a 1-step running throw.
B Bomb Train From Connector
This lineup is a great way to prevent the Counter-Terrorists from defusing the bomb if you’ve planted it on the B Bomb Train. The great thing about this lineup is that it keeps you quite secure from enemy fire. To throw it, start by standing in the corner of the bluish-green door in the Connector area, as shown below. After that, aim at the left-side crack under the archway, also as shown in the image below. Finally, do a left-click throw.
B Halls From B Red Train
Whenever you try to defuse the bomb that’s planted on the B Bomb Train, then this lineup would prove quite handy in your arsenal. Start by standing in the spot shown in the image below and aim at the left part of the red star on the blue wall in front of you. After that, do a 1-step running throw.
B Upper From B Cat
Let’s top this off with another lineup that you can use while on the CT side. If you know that the enemy is going for a fast push to the A Site and has already made their way toward the B Upper area, you should use this lineup. It will damage the Terrorists and hopefully slow down their rush, allowing your teammates enough time to come help you. Stand at the top of the B Cat area next to the farthest edge of the window toward your right, as shown in the image below, and align your crosshair with the metal structure on the roof above you. Finally, do a 1-step running left+right-click throw.
