CS2 Dust 2 Molotovs

Dust 2 Molotovs

There isn’t a CS2 player in this world who can say they haven’t played on Dust 2 because that’s probably the first map everyone plays when they first start the game. However, you will find players who don’t know proper molotov lineups. To help you stay ahead of those players, here’s a complete guide on the top molotov lineups in Dust 2.

Best CS2 Dust 2 Molotovs

A Car From A Long

Let’s start with the spot many of you would probably hate because it completely messes up your push from A Long. We’re talking about that pesky AWPer always hiding behind Car, waiting for those easy frags. Well, not anymore, because you can deal with that player using this simple molotov lineup. Start by standing on the blue barrel right outside of the Double Doors or Long Doors area. Stand in the corner, aim at the door handle, as shown in the image below, and do a jump throw.

Back Plat From B Boxes

Speaking of spots that CS2 players hate, there’s a similar spot in the B Site. And no, it’s not B Car. We’re talking about the Back Plat, where AWPers spend the entire round trying to get an easy frag on an unsuspecting player coming from the Upper Tunnels area. To molotov that player, stand on top of the B Boxes and walk into the corner. After that, aim at the center bolt of the door, as shown in the image below, and do a jump throw.

A Site From CT Spawn

This is a must-learn molotov lineup for when you want to re-take A-Site, and your only option is going from CT-Spawn. Stand in the corner of the CT-Spawn area, as shown in the image below, align your crosshair, also as shown below, do a left-click throw, and you won’t have to worry about players shooting you from the plant area in A-Site.

A Plat From A Long

This lineup is another must-learn since there aren’t many other ways to deal with players holding the A Plat area. To use this lineup, start by standing in the corner on the right side wall in the A Long area and aiming at the door handle, as shown in the image below. After that, do a jump throw, and that player will have to move out of cover.

A Short From A Ramp

Use this lineup if you’re alone at A Site and hear players coming from the A Short area. To throw this molotov, start by standing in the corner of the box in the A Ramp area and aim between the two structures on the roof of the building, as shown in the image below. After that, do a left-click throw. Keep in mind that you’ll be exposed from the A Long area while trying this lineup, so it’s better to have a teammate covering you from that direction.

B-Site Plant Area From Scaffolding

If you’re trying to re-take B-Site, you’ll likely choose the CT Mid area to push toward the site. However, you won’t be able to barge in because multiple Terrorists would be at the plant itself. To molotov most of the plant area, you can use this easy and consistent lineup. Start by standing in the corner of the wall next to the B Window area, as shown in the image below. After that, aim at the center of the shadow, also as shown below, and do a jump throw.

Conclusion

Once you are done practicing all the molotov lineups mentioned above, you won’t ever have to worry about those pesky players hiding in nasty spots. Just make sure you practice, though, because, without that, you might end up throwing a molotov on yourself.
