CS2 Overpass Molotovs

Overpass Molotovs

The molotov is an essential piece of equipment in CS2. While players at the lower ranks might consider it a useless item, it can steer the outcome of a match if used correctly. To use them effectively, you’ll need to learn popular and meta lineups. Well, that’s what we’re here for. Here are some of the top molotov lineups that you absolutely must know for Overpass.

Best CS2 Overpass Molotovs

Toxic Barrels From Monster

Let’s start with one of the most commonly used molotov lineups for the Toxic Barrels in B Site. For this lineup, stand all the way back in the Tracks area, as shown in the image below. After that, aim at the left eye of the green monster and do a 2-step running jump throw.

T Stairs From Outside Bathroom

This molotov lineup is generally used for preventing or delaying fast rushes from the T Stairs. Start by jumping on top of the rightmost edge of the bench outside the Bathroom or Short area, then aim at the edge of the wall right in front of you, as shown in the image below, and do a 2-step running jump throw.

Tunnel From A Main

If you are an A Site player and the enemy team decides to go to B Site, you can use this lineup to throw a molotov into the B Tunnel to deny the push and help your team. Simply stand on the exhaust fan in A Main, aim above the 2nd spike of the fence, and then do a 1-step running left-click throw.

B Default From Outside Bathroom

This molotov lineup is the new meta for the B Default plant area. Unlike other lineups that professional players figure out, this particular one is easy to use. Stand on top of the rightmost edge of the bench outside the Bathroom area, aim at the second spike of the fence, and do a left-click throw.

Truck From Outside Bathroom

Up next, we’ve got a molotov lineup that will clear the entire area behind the Truck in A site and force any annoying CT player behind it to move out of cover. To use this lineup, stand outside the Bathroom area, as shown in the image below, aim at the spot as shown, and do a jump throw.

B Short From Alley

Dealing with the CT Player in B Short is always hard if your team decides on a slow-paced approach. Fortunately, this lineup makes quick work of any enemy playing the short area. Start by standing near the wooden pallet in the Alley area, aim at the back of the bottom part of the forklift, and do a jump throw.

A Default From Outside Bathroom

For a lineup that lands a molotov in the A Site default plant area, start by standing in front of the left wall that leads to the toilets. After that, place your crosshair between the shadow on the right wall, as shown in the images below, and do a jump throw.

B Water From A Link

Finally, let’s talk about the Water molly lineup, a high-traffic area for both Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists. Simply stand between the door of the A Link area, aim at the edge of the third-floor balcony on the apartment building in front of you, and do a left-click throw.
